If you haven't yet done it, here's how to set up voice mail:

Install and register your magicJack
From your telephone plugged into your magicJack, dial your new ten-digit magicJack telephone number
When you hear an automated voice message, press the * (star) key.
When prompted, dial the default password 1234 on your telephone or softphone.
To change your password and set up your personalized voice greetings, press the "0" (zero) key.

If you've done that and it still doesn't work:

Your device may not work properly, or at all

if you're not logged on to your Windows user account,

if it's not running,

if it's not secured in the USB port,

if the phone cord is not secured or is broken,

if you're not connected to the Internet,

or if your magicJack device is defective.

If the device is not defective, simple actions will resolve the problem, as outlined here.

If the device is defective, you need to return it. If you bought it from magicJack, follow the instructions at http://my.magicjack.com/returns.html.

If it's too late to return the device, you can seek a resolution with your credit card company or with the Florida Dept. of Agriculture and Consumer Services, at 850-488-2221.
