No Sound On Vhs Side Of Dvd/vhs Combo.

I have a Magnavox DVD/VCR combo model number DV200MW8. My issue that I am having is that when I try to watch VHS tapes there is no sound yet the picture is fine. On the contrary the sound works perfect on the DVD side. Do you have any suggestions on how I can get the sound to work again while watching a VHS tape? Thanks for your time!
