Alarm Going Off Almost Non-stop. Help!
Hello. I have an RSL12V unit for residential use. I went to open it the other day and the alarm triggered. It seemed to go off for much longer than 5 minutes. It did go off at times for less than a minute and it would turn back on. The gate is stuck closed and won't respond at all. I toggled the on/off(reset) switch but it didn't turn the alarm off at all. I had to unplug the battery and the solar panel to get it to turn off. Made sure all the connections were good, made sure there were no obstructions, nothing on the track, etc. Plugged it back in and the Set Open Limit, Set Close Limit and Timer Running lights were blinking crazily! So fast you couldn't count them. In less than a minute, the alarm started going off again. I read in troubleshooting that it could be "An open input is continuously activated". Continuously is the exact word for my problem but I don't really understand what an "open input" could be. Can anyone shed any light on this? Thanks so much for your help!

How do I reset my LiftMaster garage door opener?
Press CH1 or CH2 on the Radio Board inside the Control Panel and release CH1 to program remote to open both gates (or partial opening on Sliding Gate) CH2 to Program Remote to open one gate (or full opening on Sliding Gate). LED will light.

How do you reset a gate opener?
Locate the LEARN button on the control panel. Press and hold the LEARN button until the LED light turns off. This will reset the opener and delink the keypad and any remote controls previously set to operate the garage opener. The light bulb inside the opening unit will flash, letting you know the reset is successful.
this will fix the issue, repalce battaries as well.
