How do I stop my screen locking at all incoming phone calls on my lg800ghl

You can't prevent, solve or fix this problem. The Auto-Lock CAN be set from 10-Seconds to NEVER. But the Auto-Lock feature is automatically engaged at between 3-7 seconds on EVERY CALL, as well as all 'phone use', when 'using the phone'.
LG's reasoning: it prevents unwanted calls. It may do so, but it also prevents a lot of wanted activites- like using the dial-pad.

Calls are interrupted, cancelled, missed and xtra costs in airtime expended. All of the same reasons the feature was created to prevent. Thus, instead of 'avoiding' these problems, the 'so-called-solution' insures them! NOT a good idea.
The ONLY hope for solving this problem - and make no mistake about it - this IS a problem!! - is that LG would provide a software update (if possible!!) to change this and allow a true 'NEVER' in the Auto-Lock feature.
