Dryer Not Drying Properly

it takes two 60 minute cycles to dry clothes on high heat. I noticed that the dryer light flashes as well as the cooling light flashes all the time. I do not know how to do the three buttons check. Besides that I don't even know what it's supposed to tell me if I did know how to do the check. Do you know what could possibly be wrong with it?
