My Son Lost Remote To Tv . Tv Is Saying Key Lock. Please What Can I Do To Fix

Push the down arrow button to highlight "Lock System," press the right arrow button to highlight "On" and then press the "Enter" button. The password screen appears on the screen.

Key locked message appears when pressing the button on TV body. Key locked message appears when pressing the button on TV body. If key lock function is activated, TV is not operated by buttons on its body. R51; Only power button is working.

The previous answer is incorrect. The "key lock" status disables use of the TV except with the remote--so if you don't have that you'll have to obtain another. You have several options. (a) You can get one from LG--you can if necessary find contact information at https://www.contacthelp.com. (b) You may be able to buy an identical but less expensive remote by turning to https://codesforuniversalremotes.com/replacement-remotes-for-tvs-oem/. (c) You can try https://www.remotes.net/ or https://www.replacementremotes.com/--but for this option, before buying make sure that the replacement will unlock your TV. (d) For used, I recommend http://www.searchtempest.com/,* which will provide many useful filters, will let you search locally or country-wide and even globally, and covers Craigslist, eBay, Amazon, and many other sources.
