Screen Is Messed Up.

Today, my screen randomly shifted down. This is hard to explain, but the top half of my screen was completely white while the bottom half of the screen had text that should have been on the top half, that was at least working and I could still click on items and read if I wanted to. Like I said it seems like it just shifted down the screen. I then proceeded to reset the Kindle by holdign the switch down for 15 or so seconds and now the screen looks messed up. For lack of a better description it looks like a bar code flipped sideways. It also does not recognize when I turn it on because when i flip the switch the light goes to green for a second and then back to black. Any help on what I should do or if it is broken would be appreciated. Thank you for your time!   --When i noticed the screen was shifted down it was just sitting on the table and nothing happened to it from the last time I used it (5 minutes prior)
