Language

Here are the instruction for changing the language on a Kindle. This will be difficult with the language not set to English, and you may have to go off of memory as to where these are:

To change the language on Kindle:

1. Select Settings from the Home screen Menu.
2. Navigate to page 2 of the Settings page and select to "Set" next to the Device Language heading.
3. Press the 5-way controller to select.
4. You will then be prompted to select a language on the device.
5. Once selected click "OK" to confirm the change.

Another possibility is resetting the Kindle altogether. Click the link below and find your particular model to learn how to reset to factory default if this is what you choose to do. Bear in mind you will loose anything already dowloaded and will have to reinstall it.
