If memory serves, you can not do a "direct" hook up with an iPod using a USB type interface. However, on the back of the head unit there is a round plug which can be used for CD changers or other external input. You will need to buy the adaptor, usually called something like Aux Input Adaptor (http://www.tss-radio.com/products/search/rca-rtd260-5-disc-dvd-slash-cd-home-theater-system-with-sirius look down to the tenth item to get an idea of what it may look like). The Adaptor has two female RCA plugs - you would then need to get an adaptor what has two male RCA connectors on one end and a 3.5mm "headphone" type plug on the other end (http://www.google.com/products/catalog?hl=en&safe=off&q=headphone+jack&cid=5012534675165126876&ei=4ADATuDREoGcmAfb_523BQ&ved=0CBoQrhI is an example). You could then plug in most any external music source (iPod, MP3 player, tape player, CD player, etc) using its headphone output. Sure, it wont charge your iPod or have a nifty interface right on the radio head unit, but it WILL let you listen to it
