14 Yr Old Traveling By Himself.
My grandson is 14 & Traveling from Denver Co to Portland ME by himself. Does he have to have an escort.

Jet Blue does not consider a 14 year old an unaccompanied minor and as such does not require a fee to travel alone nor require an escort.

Booking an Unaccompanied Minor
Children between the ages of 5 and under 14 years who will be traveling alone are considered unaccompanied minors. The child traveling unaccompanied must have reached their fifth birthday by the date of travel on JetBlue. A child who has reached their fourteenth birthday and is traveling alone is no longer considered an unaccompanied minor.

He will need to be registered into the unaccompanied minor service and the fee is 100 dollars. You have to register him during booking. If you need more info visit their unaccompanied minor page here.
