Why Jabra 'firmware Upgrade Wizard' Needs Admin Privileges?
When I'm attempting to upgrade the firmware for Jabra Freeway and starting Jabra_FREEWAY_v5.7.0-5-7-0-*.exe (original name DFUWizard.exe by GN Netcom A/S) then the program ask for admin privileges. I use Windows 7.I don't think it is necessary nor safe.

How it's possible that Odin's Answer is marked as accepted by OP, while *it is my question* and I DID NOT ACCEPT IT?
The answer is formally correct of course, but it doesn't contain the information I needed, perhaps because my question was ambiguous.
I would like to know *for what* the admin privileges are necessary for update of Jabra Freeway firmware. Other programs contacting USB devices usually don't need such privileges, and I assume, that in the case of Jabra Freeway firmware upgrade everything can be done with use of the write operation to the device. So?
