Jvc Kd S100

Today my JVC KD S100 was working perfectly and has been since I got it in October 2009. Well just today April 2009, I took off the faceplate and took out my SD card without turning the receiver off first. Then when i put it back on and tried to turn it on....nothing happened. The only thing that lights up is the blue ring around the volume knob. Could it be the faceplate? any help would be appreciated

Just press the reset button at the bottom. hold it down for a couple seconds
