Dark Screen
I have JVC HD 56G786 - 56" Rear Projection TV and my screen is really dark. i change the settings and it doesnt help

there is two things that can cause this, and you likely have both of them going on. the first is a lamp will grow weak as it ages, and the second is the optics will develop a film on the lenses and filters from years of heat from the lamp. This is most noticeable when a full screen of one color is shown and there are different brightness levels around the screen.
