Poor Picture Quality
I just recently gave my mother my JVC HD56FN97 which it was working fine at my house.....she only lives 2 miles down the road and we carefully moved it to her house via truck. Once we got it over there and turned it on the picture is very dim. We took the screen off and cleaned it very carefully, checked the lens and mirror and lamp, everything was good. But we can not hardly see the picture during the day. At night it is pretty good. And also, at my house the picture took up the whole 56 inches but we have tried everything and it always as a border either all around or just on the sides....please help, I do not have the money to go and buy a new TV....Thanks so much for your time.

If your mom has the same TV carrier as yourself there should be no differences.
To fill the screen change the aspect ratio: go to page 57 of this manual and follow the instructions to change 4x3 to 16x9 aspect ratio. Also go to pages 59-60 & adjust the picture settings to brighten the picture & adjust other settings to her preference. while being moved the TV reverted back to all default settings. Good luck!
