Husqvarna 7021p With Honda Gcv160 Engine Trouble
Hello, my name is Phil. Up to today, I have never had a problem with this fine mower, purchased 5 years ago brand new.But, last week I ran the engine out of gas, then tipped the mower on its left wheels to clean the grass out from underneath the housing.That is when the trouble started. Next week, I filled the tank, checked the oil (fine) and tried to start it.Black smoke billowed out, and it petered out. I noticed that the air filter was bathed in gas (successive attempts to start it failed, and gas was sputtering out of the exhaust port with each crank).So, I guess the tipping action flooded the carburetor, does that sound right?Suggestions, please.
