Adjust Cutting Height, Lever On Each Wheel

I need a simple explanation or diagram, answer in manual not clear about "towards front, back." I have adjustment lever on each of 4 wheels. "Front" of mower is direction you push, mowing direction. What is the position of each height adjustment lever for highest cut, relative to front of mower, all the way front position? Positions for lowest cut, all the way rear? As I make the adjustments to deck height, it doesn't seem to match the manual's description. Thanks, can't seem to get this straight! Dave L.

The manual isn't very clear about this. According to the diagram, it looks like you should move the lever forward -- toward the front of the mower -- in order to raise the mower, which would give you a higher cut.

However, that's contrary to every mower I've ever used (though none of them were Husqvarnas). They all would lower the mower deck (for a lower cut) the more you moved the lever forward.

If it's hard to tell which way it's actually going, I would try putting all four wheels in each extreme position (all the way forward and all the way back) and measure the height from the mower deck to the ground, on a flat, hard surface like a driveway.
