Press the "Menu" button on the thermostat.
Use the arrow buttons to scroll to the "System" menu.
Press the "Enter" button.
Use the arrow buttons to scroll to the "Pipe Sensor" option.
Press the "Enter" button.
Use the arrow buttons to select "Disable".
Press the "Enter" button to confirm.
The pipe sensor will now be disabled.
Here are some things to keep in mind when disabling the pipe sensor:
The thermostat will no longer be able to detect if the pipes are frozen.
This could lead to damage to the pipes if they do freeze.
If you live in an area where the pipes are prone to freezing, it is best to leave the pipe sensor enabled.
You can also disable the pipe sensor by using the Honeywell Total Comfort ComfortLink app. To do this, follow these steps:
Open the Honeywell Total Comfort ComfortLink app.
Tap on the thermostat that you want to disable the pipe sensor for.
Tap on the "Settings" icon.
Tap on "System".
Tap on "Pipe Sensor".
Toggle the "Pipe Sensor" switch to the "Off" position.
The pipe sensor will now be disabled for the selected thermostat.
