you need to ensure you internal S/PDIF audio loop cable is connected from your video card to your motherboard audio header or sound card header. Windows 7 does not natively support HDMI at all, it is all done either at the factory, or on your own. You need to provide information on you computer in order for me to get an understanding of your problem..
