Setting Up Tv Without Cable To Tv Channels

how do i set the tv to regular tv channels without using a cable box?

Primarily you need to verify that there are still analogue TV broadcasts. If they have ceased then the TV section will ot work. Nowadays people have TV converter boxes for digital TV or cable. I suggest checking with your local TV shop.
