HP said that this device is out of date and there is no driver for windows 7/

can we find some workaround with another driver that will operate this device. The hardware is in excellent condition

Go here and select your Windows 7 version (whether 32bit or 64bit). You then be presented with compatible driver and software for the Hp product.
