My Webcam Wont Come On. Keeps Saying Webcam Not Connected. Hp Dv6 600se

each time i try to activate my webcam, it keep saying webcam not connected. could it be a hardware or a software problem? thanks

The webcam is not connected because your computer cannot detect this device. You have to install the appropriate driver software for the webcam to make it communicate to your computer. You can download the driver software here:

Remember that the only available driver software is compatible with Windows 7 32-bit and Windows 7 64-bit.
