i am having problem installing software for this printer

Your question has very little information regarding your issue aside form what device you are having trouble with.

However, you should ensure the right driver for your computer oprerating system is selected when installing software.

If you are still having problems once you ensure the correct software is chosen, you can go to the HP Website and view the downloads available once you choose your computer system in the dropbox. You can try downloading the driver for your device and try installing again. Or, if you prefer, you can download the Diagnostic software. This software is suppose to check,and correct, any issues found while running the software. This is like having a tech check your device, without actually having a tech there.
