Do you have any sound at all without the headphones? If not you need to install your drivers, they can be found here

Have you tried a different pair of headphones, or tried your headphones in another device to see if they are working properly?

If your headphones are functioning and your drivers are installed, then sadly it sound like the port has gone out. Unfortunately with a notebook these are on the motherboard themselves and cannot be replaced seperately. However you may purchased wireless or bluetooth headphones, which would be far less expensive than buying a new board or laptop.
