How do you fix an invalid electronic serial number?
HP Business Desktops - How to Correct an Invalid Electronic Serial Number in BIOS
Press F10 to enter BIOS Setup.
Press CTRL A.
Select Advanced, System IDs, and enter the serial number from the service tag sticker on the chassis.
Press F10 to save settings and exit BIOS.
