Can I Replace A Single Hardware Component In My Hp A6440f?
My sound has gone out (Windows Vista Home Premium). Tried all 6 jacks with brand new twin mini-speakers. Checked Realtek speakers and digital otuput in the Control Panel - "working". Also there are no computer sounds. It's likely that my sound card has gone bad or could it be something else? Anything other to check or might it be some setting?
Can the sound card be replaced alone without the motherboard or other parts? Thanks for any feedback,

Yes you can. Click on the following link. This sound card will work perfectly with your computer.
This is only $9.99 though. Possibly spring for the $25 range for a little better quality. Just read the size specs to make sure it will fit physically inside your microatx case
