Scan Failure In Win8

hi I've HP LaserJet 3050 after upgrading windows from 7 to 8 (and installing hp driver for win8) it works properly for printing but not scanning! by using "windows fax and scan" it says : "No paper in document feeder" that's not hardware problem becuase I can scan with my win7 laptop Ooops! I think I could not install Win8 driver (from hp.com) properly... but I don't know how I can install that!!! becuase setup didn't start in usual way... HELP... HELP... thanks
