I've Troubleshot. Now Can I Reinstall The Battery?

Woke up this morning and my hp 15-f024wm wouldn't turn on (black screen & no sounds, but yes to LED lights). Using my RCA tablet purchased on the same day, I looked up your trouble shooting guide and followed all the instructions. Spent quite a bit of time at it. Feel like it ate most of my brain this morning. Now that I've completed all of the steps, can I reinstall the battery?
