unfortunately in this laptop no you cannot install a dvd-rom or CD ROM drive it does not come with one included nor is there any provision on the mainboard to add one not even so much as a circuit race pinout to add the connector to add one as I have pulled this unit apart several times sorry to disappoint you that you wasted your money on this lack of a laptop hope this answers your question
