Haier Remote Control Help
I bought a Haier 5000btu a.c.model #HWRO5XC5 with a remote control. I bought it from my neighbor it looks brand new.My problem is the remote control doesn't work.I put in a new battery but it still doesn't work.I did get it to turn on by tapping the power button a few times. It's on high cool.There are 2 small windows I call them the first has nothing on in it the one next to it has the temperature of 72degrees.Is there anything I can do to make the remote work? I paid $50 for the a.c. Thank you

The remote may be just bad and due for replacement. Refer to the manual here https://www.helpowl.com/manuals/Haier/KWR05XC3HWR05XC5/99076 and see if you do not have a 'Control Panel' operating option (which few A/C models offers). A replacement remote control for the model is otherwise available here http://amzn.to/1MSEp6Q
