Cooling Problem With My Haier Air Conditioner Model # Hpyo8xcm-e .

my air conditioner does emit cool ( cold ) air BUT it doesn't evenly cool my room ( it's a medium to large room ) at night I end up sweating and freezing , so I turn off the machine but then my room gets so hot I turn it on again and still sweat . I cleaned all 4 filters. I don't have a manual or remote. It's on at 84 degrees F or 85 ( dry air fan ) I don't know what to do. The model # is HPYO8XCM-E. What can I do to cool my room evenly and comfortably?

Make sure you have 8"-12" of air clearance around the air conditioner. Also, understand that the AC will not operate if the room temperature is not at least 5 degrees higher than the temperature you set.
