I Have A Cprb08xcj Portable A/c Unit

when on a/c mode it is supposed to evaporate any condensation inside. It was fine the first season now it is leaking water out of drain. Is there a fix for this?

There are screws on the back of the machine. Remove those and pull the back and side panel off the machine. Then check first the drain pan. If it is damaged replace it. If not and is overfilling then there is a coolant problem or sealed system issue where you may need it recharged. To do that you need to call Bauer and they will come out to you to fix it.

If this unit is under five years and has an issue with sealed system I would call haier. It would be covered under warranty and you would not have to pay. Otherwise if it is not covered and you need to recharge or repair the seals system then yes. Replace the unit. It would not be worth the more then $500 to fix it. Just get another ac
