Microwave That Stopped Working

I've had this particular microwave for less than 3 years.  It was originally put in my home, then I moved and the house became a rental property.  The tenant informed me that the microwave just stopped working.  The outlet was checked and it was fine.  Is it possible that something could be wrong with the cord?  Can the cord be replaced?  If so, where can a replacememt cord be found?  I am just trying every possibility prior to spending money purchasing another one.  Repair needs to be made as soon as possible. Thank you for your assistance
