Oven Shuts Periodically Shuts Off
Our G.E. oven JTP70DPBB is a little over a year old and several times a month will shut down with just the clock working. We have to flip the breaker switch to get it to work again. Any ideas on what could be wrong?

it is a normal reaction by some electric ovens to prevent overheating or short circuiting. i found it out myself the hard way but not with an oven , but rather with an electrical stove top. but if the oven is entirely new and of the latest model, check the oven's manual and warranty and give the company a call to inquire if it really is like that. older electric oven models do have that safety feature but for the modern ones, i think they can retain the heat/temperature and remain "on".
