External Charging

i want to know whether the usb ports can be activated to charge an external device like a phone when the computer has been shutdown? URGENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes you can but you will have to ensure that the usb ports aren't enabled to shut down by the OS.

Go here for the possible ways to allow the particular port you want to use to charge your phone or all 3 ports.

From desktop' Right click and click personalize>Click "screen saver" > Change power settings> Change plan settings> Change advance power settings> Scroll down and extract "Power buttons and lid" > lid close action and change both " on battery and plugged in" to Do nothing. and then click apply then ok

NOTE: You do not have to shut the computer down just close the lid.
