Post Self-test Fails To Continue
Need to press the on/off button many times before unit shows the blue on light and then contue booting.
Both fans are running.
Unit functions well once it finally kicks on.

This is a tough one to diagnose over a one-way forum such as this. This could be bad RAM, a bad motherboard, corrupted BIOS, a bad BIOS battery, etc.
I really recommend that you contact a local tech and have them go through the system.
You can also try a memory diagnostic to see if thats the issue. here are two:
