While there are a lot of complaints, the dryer is not recalled and is still being sold.

After searching I can't find definitive information on whether or not it has been recalled.  However, I did find contact information for Frigidaire (who is owned by Electrolux).  They are: [email protected]

This contact should be able to offer insight if it was recalled and also get a repair person to fix your issue free of charge if still under the warranty.
