Washer Wont Drain

My washer wont drain, it starts to spin and then stops.  I think because the washer still has water in it. I can hear what sounds like a timer running. What could be wrong with it?

Your hearing the timer running. It is probably a pump that has failed. If your unit is under warranty call for service. Hope this helps.
