Unfortunately you cannot tell just based off of the model number. You will need to provide the serial numbers for the unit. You would read the serial number as follows:

4C or XC -- first number after the letter is the year made.

The next two numbers (4C8-XX) is the week in which the unit was produced. So if you have a serial number 4C815XXXXXX - the unit was made in 2008, week 15 - which is April 9-th-15th.
