Oven Stopped When Running Empty.

Oven was running with nothing in it (grandson was using it as a timer) and stopped. Nothing works on it now...light, fan, nothing. Is there a reset button, or is something major wrong?

Hello jholland, thank you for you post!

Let’s try resetting your microwave by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. It is important to wait approximately ten minutes and then turn your appliance on. If resetting the power does not correct the issue, then it could possibly be a few things: faulty fuse, open thermostat, TCO (thermal cutout), magnetron, a bad connection with the control board or a potential wiring failure. Because it could be a number of any one of several underlying causes, I would recommend contacting a professional to properly diagnose and repair your microwave.

Best regards!

Chris
