Good Afternoon dkhogan – That is correct! One thermal fuse is located on the heater housing and the other near the blower housing. Typically, both thermal fuses are closed circuits. One will prevent the dryer from coming on and the other will prevent the motor from turning.  However, regrettably, this is not a simple DIY job. Generally, qualified technicians often perform these complicated parts replacements. Usually this type of information is not released to a consumer and very rare to find enough information to do it yourself. If I was in your positioned, I would personally suggest reaching out to a professional to accurately assist with the repair of the part(s).
