Facebook Taking Away Search Feature Privacy Setting?????

Attention FB: Why would you take away a privacy/safety feature in protecting our privacy online form just anyone accessing our page when it has already been programmed and is costing FB nothing to keep it? Are you TRYING to weed out users? Makes no sense. We unfortunately have to delete our account because you have chosen to take away our privacy on Facebook. Are you kidding me??????!!!!

Hello jamiej,

I have reviewed Facebook's Privacy statement and do not see where the information you have came from. However, as this is a community Q&A website, and not facebook, we can not guarantee this as fact.

The best way to get an answer to your question is to log into your Facebook Account, locate the little wheel that represents your settings (on upper right side of page) and scroll down to Report a problem. You will be brought to a page to submit your issue. You should choose "Privacy" from the drop down menu and include your issue below it.

Tip: You may prefer to copy the information you posted here on helpowl and paste into your Facebook inquiry to avoid the need to type it over again.

Hope this helps
