Hello,

yes you could print without yellow ink. However, its not recommend because it could clog the printhead and possible cause permanent damage to the printhead as well.

I am in agreement with that. If you go to the link I have attached and search the FAQs in the ink section it explains how the printer deals with the ink. It is not advisable to run without ink as the tubes can get dry and never work again.
