Why Won't My Epson Workforce 520 Printer Recognize Non-epson Ink Cartridges?
I have used non-Epson ink cartridges in the past and haven't had any problem but I just replaced my black cartridge and it says it doesn't recognize this cartridge. Is there anything I can do? I have tried to select the "Menu" button but the printer won't do anything. I tried turning it off but this morning when I turned it back on it's still saying it doesn't recognize the cartridge.

Your Epson WorkForce 520 printer/scanner cannot accept your currently installed ink cartridge because this is not an Epson ink cartridge compatible. There might be an ink detector program of your Epson WorkForce 520 device that identifies and rejects non-Epson ink cartridges installed. The best solution for this is to purchase a compatible and original Epson ink cartridge. You can but it from the following links:
