Epson Lx-300+ii Printer Port Is Not Getting Recognized.

Hi Good Afternoon , My Machine is Running Windows XP -SP2 Professional and it's Connected With LX-300+II Prinetr . When i try to Install the Driver Software for this Printer, In Installation 1st Stage Printer is not getting recognized ( Connected Via USB). If We Select Connected Port Manually then I can Able to install the required Driver for this Prineter . But whenever i Reboot the system Printer is asking for It's driver again and again . i Have some properatry Software which will print the Errors Automatically . Untill unless i configure the Printer Over Parallel Port My Software is not recognizing this Printer .
