Dishwasher Trips Circuit Breaker

Runs for a few minutes, trips breaker, along with a hot smell. Damn reset breaker, same thing happens. Any help?

From what you have mentioned sounds like the dishwasher is not installed on the correct circuit or amp breaker and will continue to trip if you do not have it professionally diagnosed.
