Electrolux Ovendoor Locked, Manual Opened It Now The Lock Is Down

after cleaning the door was locked waited until cooled down, still would not open also turned power completly off.  Manually opened bu, the lock is engaged & if I close the door still locked

Hello there!

For many cooking appliances one cannot manually unlock the unit. You may get the latch to un-engage by unplugging unit but it is not often. This does require a professional's experience so that the latch and strike assembly are not broken.
