Electrolux Dual Fuel Oven Door Locked After Cleaning Cycle

I ran the clean cycle on my E48DF76EPS Electrolux oven this morning. The cycle finished and the oven walls and glass are room temp. The door is locked. I have turned the breaker off several times but the door will not open. The Conv Oven and Broil lights are flashing. How can I open the door and stop the lights from flashing?

Hello kntrykoi, thank you for your post!

I understand the door of your range will not unlock after a self-clean cycle. Here are few troubleshooting tips to help resolve your issue:

  • First, locate the Control Lock button on your control panel. Try pressing and holding down the key for approximately 5-10 seconds.
  • If the Control Lock button does not correct the issue, once again reset your range by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. It is important to wait roughly ten minutes.
  • Set the clock after resetting your range by entering the time and pressing the Start button immediately after.

If the above items did not assist you in resolving the issue, you may want to connect with a local servicer who will be best equipped to pinpoint the problem. You can often locate a qualified service technician on the manufacturer website.

Thanks for allowing me the opportunity to assist you!
