Used Ignition Installed Everything Works Now Exept It Won't Start

We bought a used key cylinder and I installed it my self. It came with a key so I put the whole assembly on. Now everything works but it won't start  I'm sure the car thinks its being stolen. Is there a way to reset my problem. 2007 dodge caliber
