Hi there Cochri, my name is Kimberly and I form part of the Social Media Department with DISH. In order to remove the Smart Card from the receiver you must open the small door located on the front of the receiver (you can open the door by pushing it in with your thumb, it will pop open) If your receiver has a smart card, it will be there, you can take it out but must put it back in.
