Smart Card Problems Need Help Please

Well I have a HDTV Dish Network box and I've only had it for 4 months now and now it's says "Remove your smart card from the slot on the front of your receiver and re-insert firmly with the color side up and the arrow facing in." So I've done it and it reset my box and then the same message popped back up so can anyone help me out with this problem please and thank you
